Carolyn seems to be Bathsheba Sherman's main target throughout the movie. She experiences things such as being bruised all over her body, (a sign of infestation) Being thrown into the cellar, etc. When Carolyn encounters Bathsheba one last time, she is seen to become possessed. Throughout the rest of the movie, Bathsheba now infests Carolyn's body, using her telekinesis to move objects around and continue to torcher the family. Carolyn does not yet know that the demon has entered her body. 10 years later, she and her family had moved out from the farmhouse and gives some flowers to the Warrens.
